Role Overview:The BBSI Strategic Human Capital Advisor plays a crucial role in offering guidance and support to our business-owner clients and our internal team of specialists. This position requires a strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a commitment to proactively delivering results for both clients and internal teams.
The primary goal of the Strategic Human Capital Advisor is to provide expert advice, training, and support in areas such as strategic human capital management, compliance with employment laws, employee relations, organizational development, and best practices in human resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of human resources principles and practices, including relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, industry trends, and economic factors that may influence BBSI and its clients.
- Utilize HR metrics to benchmark, measure, analyze, and communicate the value and ROI of HR initiatives.
- Possess over 10 years of experience in both hands-on and strategic HR management.
- Engage with HR associations or related networking groups.
- Facilitate training and organizational development initiatives.
- Be prepared to perform administrative tasks as necessary.
- Experience in establishing an HR department is advantageous.
- Build trust and rapport with business owners as a reliable advisor.
- Possess additional operational or business experience beyond HR.
- Effectively develop and deliver presentations and training sessions for diverse audiences.
- Spend approximately 80% of the time working on-site with clients.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- SPHR or PHR certification is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:The starting salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $125,000 annually, with variations based on geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications.
This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the company's plan.
Benefits include medical insurance, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, voluntary benefits, and more.
Paid Time Off includes 40 hours of sick leave annually, vacation accrual, paid holidays, and volunteer days.
