Position Summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a dedicated Compliance Specialist to enhance our compliance initiatives.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for executing routine administrative and compliance functions under the guidance of the Compliance Director. Key responsibilities include: managing documentation processes, generating reports, overseeing contract management, and supporting patient experience initiatives. The role also involves assisting with data analysis, research projects, and various compliance-related assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Provide administrative support to the Compliance Manager
  2. Create and maintain documents using Excel and Word
  3. Assist with confidential projects while ensuring privacy
  4. Organize and manage compliance records in designated systems
  5. Prepare for and respond to audits; ensure compliance reporting accuracy
  6. Support assigned Compliance staff with administrative tasks
  7. Assist in formatting presentations and documents
  8. Monitor quality and regulatory standards in service delivery
  9. Manage compliance oversight for a portfolio of contracts
  10. Conduct research on compliance issues as needed
  11. Serve as a resource for departmental staff and management
  12. Assist in delivering reports and reviews to ensure compliance with policies
  13. Communicate with internal departments and external entities
  14. Perform various administrative tasks including data entry and filing
  15. Maintain organized departmental files and documentation
  16. Stay informed on compliance regulations and updates in the healthcare sector
  17. Assist with onboarding processes for non-employees
  18. Ensure proper documentation for compliance and research proposals
  19. Complete additional tasks as assigned within the Compliance Department

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma; some college experience preferred

Experience: Administrative experience; familiarity with healthcare preferred; basic understanding of compliance and research methodologies

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical proficiency

Personal Attributes: Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with all levels of staff and management.
