Position Summary
Mountain View Hospital is seeking a dedicated Compliance Specialist to enhance our compliance initiatives.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for executing routine administrative and compliance functions under the guidance of the Compliance Director. Key responsibilities include: managing documentation processes, generating reports, overseeing contract management, and supporting patient experience initiatives. The role also involves assisting with data analysis, research projects, and various compliance-related assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to the Compliance Manager
- Create and maintain documents using Excel and Word
- Assist with confidential projects while ensuring privacy
- Organize and manage compliance records in designated systems
- Prepare for and respond to audits; ensure compliance reporting accuracy
- Support assigned Compliance staff with administrative tasks
- Assist in formatting presentations and documents
- Monitor quality and regulatory standards in service delivery
- Manage compliance oversight for a portfolio of contracts
- Conduct research on compliance issues as needed
- Serve as a resource for departmental staff and management
- Assist in delivering reports and reviews to ensure compliance with policies
- Communicate with internal departments and external entities
- Perform various administrative tasks including data entry and filing
- Maintain organized departmental files and documentation
- Stay informed on compliance regulations and updates in the healthcare sector
- Assist with onboarding processes for non-employees
- Ensure proper documentation for compliance and research proposals
- Complete additional tasks as assigned within the Compliance Department

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma; some college experience preferred
Experience: Administrative experience; familiarity with healthcare preferred; basic understanding of compliance and research methodologies
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical proficiency
Personal Attributes: Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with all levels of staff and management.
