Key Responsibilities:

The Environmental & Waste Professional will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The position encompasses various responsibilities, including:

  • Developing and implementing waste characterization and management strategies that adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Preparing and executing sampling and analysis plans in line with established guidelines.
  • Analyzing laboratory data to classify materials for disposal, ensuring compliance with waste acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborating with clients to align waste management objectives with organizational goals.
  • Crafting innovative solutions to address technical challenges in environmental engineering and waste management.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, accompanied by a minimum of four years of professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster effective relationships with clients and team members.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, with no dual citizenship.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.
  • Must meet necessary qualifications for radiological controls and environmental engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with RCRA and TSCA regulations related to hazardous and mixed waste management.
  • Current DOE security clearance is advantageous.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on various factors, including market conditions and the candidate's qualifications.
