Key Responsibilities:

The Environmental & Waste Professional will play a crucial role in ensuring that our environmental engineering and waste management initiatives adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing sampling and analysis plans in line with established guidelines.
  • Analyzing laboratory data to classify materials for disposal in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring that project documentation accurately reflects the necessary waste characterization and management protocols.
  • Collaborating with clients to align our environmental and waste management strategies with their objectives.
  • Crafting innovative solutions to complex challenges in environmental engineering and waste management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A relevant bachelor's degree accompanied by a minimum of four years of professional experience.
  • Strong collaborative skills with a proven ability to build effective relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, with no dual citizenship.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.
  • Must meet qualifications for radiological controls and environmental engineering certifications.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with RCRA and TSCA regulations related to hazardous and mixed waste management.
  • Current DOE security clearance is advantageous.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, a comprehensive benefits package is available, including medical, retirement, and performance-based incentives.
