Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage help desk inquiries across all firm locations.
  • Provide expert technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
  • Assist in the implementation of various IT projects.
  • Conduct IT orientation sessions for newly hired staff.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients seeking technical support via phone or email.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant inquiries.
  • Identify optimal solutions based on the issues presented by internal clients.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support personnel.
  • Deliver accurate information regarding IT products and services.
  • Document events, problems, and their resolutions in logs.
  • Follow up with clients to update them on their status and any pertinent information.
  • Relay customer feedback or suggestions to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Propose potential improvements to existing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a help desk or customer support role.
  • Previous experience in a law firm is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office automation products, databases, and remote control technologies.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and basic server administration.
  • Understanding of basic LAN/WAN network communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with Citrix virtual desktop environments.
  • Experience with VMware for basic server management.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and various tech products.
  • Aptitude for diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
  • Proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure.
  • Positive demeanor and a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong commitment to discretion and confidentiality.

Compensation: Salary range based on experience: $23-$26/hour.

The salary range provided is an estimate based on various factors including skill level, education, and experience.
