Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, as well as the policies, values, and mission of Memorial Healthcare System.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept student nurses and new hires.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- One (1) year of RN work experience.
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU.
