Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Specialty II RN, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as needed.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of nursing experience required.
  • Current RN license in the State of Florida.
  • ACLS certification required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.
  • PALS certification required for Pediatric areas.
  • NRP certification required for NICU.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of critically ill patients.
