Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, precepting student nurses and new hires as needed.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- One (1) year of nursing experience required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.
- PALS required for Pediatric areas with the exception of NICU.
- NRP certification required for NICU.
- Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or through AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs.
