Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and psychosocial support needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to optimize patient outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Monitor and document patient condition, communicating effectively with healthcare teams and families.
- Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- One year of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric or neonatal setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, and MHN Pre-Op areas.
- PALS certification required for Pediatric areas, with the exception of NICU.
- NRP certification required for NICU, with 30 days from date of hire to obtain.
- Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs.
