Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and assess patient condition, identifying and responding to changes in a timely and effective manner
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric or neonatal setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas
  • PALS certification required for Pediatric areas, with the exception of NICU
  • NRP certification required for NICU
  • Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced) for L&D RNs
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in a high-stress environment.
