Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and document patient condition, identifying and responding to changes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
  • One year of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or related setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas).
  • NRP certification (required for NICU).

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-based setting, communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in challenging situations.
