Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Specialty II ICU RN, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment
- Monitor and document patient condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team
- Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, precepting student nurses and new hires as needed
- One year of nursing experience required
- Current RN license in the state of Florida
- ACLS certification required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, and MHN Pre-Op areas
- PALS certification required for Pediatric areas
- NRP certification required for NICU
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be able to lift or carry patients weighing up to 35 pounds, push or pull equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, and stand for long periods. The work environment is primarily indoors, with occasional exposure to biohazardous waste and hazardous chemicals.
