Job Description

Luminary Group is seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Senior Vice President of Business Development to drive strategic growth and expand our client base in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Business Development Strategy: Promote the adoption of our Real World Evidence solutions and identify new business opportunities in the healthcare industry.
  • Identify and Target Potential Clients: Focus on pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and payer organizations to establish key partnerships and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and Maintain Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to understand their needs and align our offerings to meet those needs.
  • Lead the End-to-End Sales Process: Prospecting, lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Develop customized proposals and presentations for potential clients to showcase the value of our Real World Evidence solutions.
  • Monitor Market Trends and Competitor Activities: Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the healthcare industry.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance and Leadership: Drive performance and ensure the achievement of sales targets for the business development team.
  • Represent Luminary Group at Industry Events: Enhance our brand presence and generate leads at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Work Closely with Internal Teams: Ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide Regular Reports and Updates: Share business development activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections with senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a Related Field: MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 Years of Experience in Business Development or Sales Leadership: Focus on Real World Evidence (RWE) in the healthcare industry.
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Real World Evidence (RWE): Applications in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical devices.
  • Proven Track Record of Driving Strategic Growth: Expand client base and achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong Network of Contacts in the Healthcare Industry: Pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and payer organizations.
  • Excellent Negotiation, Communication, and Presentation Skills: Engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Extensive Experience Leading and Managing a Business Development Team: Drive performance and achieve results.
  • Strategic Thinker with Ability to Identify Market Opportunities: Drive innovation and differentiate our solutions.
  • Ability to Work Collaboratively Across Cross-Functional Teams: Build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Exceptional Leadership Skills: Inspire and motivate the team to achieve their full potential.
  • Willingness to Travel as Needed: Meet with clients and attend industry events.
