Job Overview:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to serve as an Account Executive in our Sacramento/San Francisco territory. This role involves frequent travel to provide exceptional customer service and prospect new clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in outside sales, with a focus on territory planning and client engagement. They will also possess strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Job Functions:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while proactively identifying and engaging new clients.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute territory plans informed by market and client feedback, regularly analyzing competitive landscapes and adapting strategies to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, leading client engagement efforts and emphasizing face-to-face interactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the sales team and across departments to drive initiatives, providing insightful updates to Sales leadership and contributing to sales meetings with strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or sales, OR at least 3 years of experience in outside sales with a focus on territory planning and client engagement.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Frequent travel within the territory to provide exceptional customer service and prospect new clients.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Proficient in CRM software for efficient client management, sales tracking, and forecasting, with strong analytical skills to effectively interpret market trends and identify business opportunities.

Estimated Salary Range: $92,000 base + commission
