Job Overview

The Insurance Customer Support Representative plays a crucial role in fostering strong client relationships by addressing inquiries and concerns related to personal and commercial insurance policies with efficiency and professionalism. This position involves daily interactions with clients, insurance providers, and team members while executing specific service and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to client calls and communications regarding new or existing insurance policies and manage all claims effectively.
  • Keep detailed records of client interactions and transactions, documenting inquiries, feedback, and actions taken in the agency management system.
  • Conduct policy audits; ensure accuracy and facilitate necessary corrections between clients and insurance carriers.
  • Carry out various administrative duties to ensure the agency operates smoothly and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED with at least 3 years of experience in client service.
  • Possession of a Property & Casualty insurance license or a commitment to obtain one.
  • Exhibit a strong customer-centric approach and excellent telephone etiquette; possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multitask, and effective time management.
  • Proficient in technology and computer applications, including agency management systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and QuickBooks.
