The Insurance Policy Support Specialist will play a vital role in providing technical and administrative assistance while adhering to established protocols. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, generating reports, verifying data, and addressing common inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess incoming communications to identify new requests or the need for additional information.
  • Utilize multiple systems and databases to process new quote requests for both new and renewal business in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Ensure that all documents are accurately indexed within electronic document management systems.
  • Conduct data entry for new quote requests, following established procedures across various segments.
  • Retrieve and upload reports from third-party vendors based on specific segment requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to support team objectives.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or a minimum of three years of relevant experience in insurance, clerical, administrative, or customer service roles.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  • Ability to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proficient in MS Office (intermediate level), data entry, and detail-oriented research.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of all work performed.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Capacity to manage a high volume of emails and orders efficiently.
