About You: We are seeking a dedicated Security Solutions Consultant who will drive profitable sales of security systems and recurring revenue services by fostering long-term relationships with end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in proactive outreach to generate new business-to-business (B2B) opportunities.
  • Identify and assess prospects based on budget, authority, need, and timing.
  • Represent the company at industry events and associations as required.
  • Build and nurture business and social relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Deliver compelling oral and written presentations to potential clients, showcasing the equipment and services offered by Low Voltage Contractors, both in-person and via webinars.
  • Prepare detailed proposals for all systems and services to be sold and assist in contract preparation.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with prospective clients.
  • Accurately document activities in SalesForce CRM.
  • Maintain updated CRM/pipeline information regarding qualified leads.
  • Provide regular territory or vertical progress reports and accurate business forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote the full range of products and services offered by Low Voltage Contractors.

Qualifications:

  • Technically proficient with the ability to design and demonstrate the value of integrated solutions, emphasizing recurring revenue services tailored to customer needs.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to apply tact, diplomacy, and logic when interacting with diverse groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with various audiences.
  • Proficient in writing proposals, business plans, and general correspondence.
  • Adept at effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries from clients and the public.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and various forms of information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quick to learn internal software (CRM) and other sales tools.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license, proper automobile registration, and proof of insurance for personal automobile liability.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in management, marketing, or sales is preferred.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in the security industry is preferred.
  • Experience in managed security services sales is preferred.
