About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Security Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Security Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with end-users to secure profitable sales of security systems and recurring revenue services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting for new business-to-business (B2B) entities to identify and qualify prospects with respect to budget, authority, need, and timing.
  • Represent the company at industry events and develop business and social relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Provide oral and written presentations to potential customers outlining the equipment and services proposed by Low Voltage Contractors.
  • Negotiate and close contracts presented to potential customers.
  • Promptly and adequately document activities in our CRM system.
  • Update CRM/pipeline with accurate and timely information with respect to qualified leads.
  • Provide weekly/monthly territory or vertical progress reports, accurate business forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote the complete product line and services of Low Voltage Contractors.

Requirements:

  • Must be technically savvy and able to design and demonstrate the value of integrated solutions with an emphasis on recurring revenue services to fit customers' needs.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to apply tact, diplomacy, reason, logic, and work with diverse groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Ability to write proposals, business plans, and general correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and the general public.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints (floor plans, riser diagrams) and a variety of information provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly learn internal software (CRM) and other sales tools.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license, proper automobile registration, and proof of insurance for personal automobile liability.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in management, marketing, or sales preferred.
  • Four years of security industry experience preferred.
  • Managed security services sales experience preferred.
