Your Role
The Solutions Consultant Manager redefines the conventional Sales Engineer Manager position, focusing on leading teams to effectively assist our clients in comprehending their environments, offering solution recommendations, and ensuring they realize the value of their investments with Palo Alto Networks.

As the Solutions Consultant Manager, you will serve as the technical authority for your District Solutions Consulting team.

Collaboration with the District Sales Manager is essential, as you and your team will cultivate relationships with clients, aiming to help them identify and mitigate advanced cyber threats.

Your expertise and mentorship will empower your team to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and maintain a proactive stance on prevention.

In your capacity as the technical leader for your designated area, you will guide your team in crafting innovative technical solutions that protect critical business objectives and enhance the value of their investments with Palo Alto Networks.

Your Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new Solutions Consultants, ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for your team, fostering engagement and career success.
- Support the field Solutions Consultant team in complex evaluations and problem-solving in challenging customer scenarios.
- Lead and coach your team on effective technical validation strategies to secure technical wins in assigned opportunities.

- Develop and monitor personalized development plans for your team members.
- Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to guarantee successful customer implementation and solution adoption.

- Offer insightful technical leadership during customer interactions, sharing security trends and best practices from other clients to enhance the sales process.
- Drive Palo Alto Networks' Platformization initiatives within your accounts.

- Work in tandem with the Domain Specialist Manager to optimize resource utilization and align necessary resources with ongoing projects.
- Act as a point of escalation to collaborate with pre-sales and post-sales teams on any arising issues.

- Build and nurture relationships with key clients to establish reference accounts and assist account teams in strategizing for increased business opportunities.
- Present as the subject matter expert at all levels within the customer organization, from technical staff to executive leadership.

- Analyze competitor offerings and position our solutions as the superior choice.

- Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to gather requirements and feedback for product enhancements based on customer insights.

Your Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager.
- Background as a Senior System Engineer/Specialist with industry knowledge of security product trends and awareness of our technological roadmap.
- Expertise in delivering comprehensive security solutions to our customer base.
- Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
- Strong partnership with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills, with a quota-driven mindset focused on providing the best solutions for clients.
