Your Role
The Solutions Consultant Manager represents the next step in the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineer Manager role, focusing on how we lead teams to best assist our clients in understanding their environments, offering solution guidance, and ensuring they realize the value of their investments with Palo Alto Networks.

As the Solutions Consultant Manager, you will serve as the technical authority for your District Solutions Consulting team. You will collaborate closely with the District Sales Manager to cultivate relationships with clients, aiming to help them identify and mitigate advanced cyber threats.

Your expertise and mentorship will empower your team to stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and maintain a proactive stance on prevention.

Your Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new Solutions Consultants within your territory, ensuring you attract top talent in the industry.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance reviews for your team, fostering engagement and career success.
- Support the field Solutions Consultant team in complex evaluations and problem-solving within challenging customer environments.
- Lead and coach your team on effective technical validation efforts, ensuring successful outcomes in assigned opportunities.

- Develop and monitor individual growth plans for your team members.
- Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to guarantee comprehensive customer implementation and solution adoption.

- Offer technical leadership during customer interactions, sharing security trends and best practices from other clients to enhance the selling process.
- Drive Palo Alto Networks' Platformization initiatives within your accounts.

- Work in tandem with the Domain Specialist Manager to optimize resource utilization and align necessary resources with your projects.
- Act as a point of escalation to collaborate with pre-sales and post-sales teams on any arising issues.

- Build and maintain relationships with key clients to establish reference accounts and assist account teams in formulating strategies to drive additional business.

- Present as an expert to clients at all levels, from technical staff to executive leadership, discussing competitor products and positioning ours as the superior choice.

- Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to define requirements and product features for our large clients, providing feedback based on customer insights.

Your Qualifications
- Experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager.
- Background as a Senior System Engineer/Specialist with knowledge of security product market trends and awareness of our technology roadmap and competitor offerings.
- Proficiency in delivering comprehensive security solutions to Palo Alto Networks' customer base.
- Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions such as Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with effective presentation abilities.
- A quota-driven mindset focused on providing clients with the best solutions as a trusted advisor.
