Coloplast is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Sales Consultant to become a vital part of our expanding team.

The Healthcare Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in driving sales growth through effective management of both outbound and inbound communication campaigns across diverse product lines. As an inside sales expert, the Healthcare Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving and surpassing annual sales targets by initiating calls to introduce or re-establish Coloplast's presence to end users, addressing product concerns to foster user acceptance, and advocating for the acquisition of Coloplast products through the medical distribution network, aligned with the end users' insurance providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound and inbound calls to targeted end users with the aim of meeting and exceeding established activity and conversion metrics.
  • Strategically plan and prioritize sales initiatives to generate revenue and achieve assigned objectives.
  • Collaborate with field sales representatives in designated accounts to follow up on inquiries and enhance customer relationships.
  • Engage with end-users regarding sensitive health care topics and anatomical functions in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, competitor offerings, and market trends that may influence sales performance.
  • Acquire and exhibit necessary expertise to address product application inquiries and resolve issues for end-users.
  • Develop a solid understanding of distribution and reimbursement processes across all product categories.
  • Accurately document each end-user interaction and profile in Coloplast's CRM systems in accordance with departmental protocols, ensuring data integrity through self-auditing.
  • Prepare reports as required or requested.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree and/or a combination of at least 2-4 years of experience in healthcare customer service or sales.
  • Experience in a call center sales environment is preferred.
  • Ability to clearly explain medical processes and procedures while providing concise, step-by-step guidance.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to gain end-user acceptance during the indirect sales process.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and identifying growth opportunities.

  • Strong sense of urgency to deliver results and drive business growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in using the telephone as a tool for customer relations and sales.
  • Effective critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges and identify opportunities for enhancing customer relationships and increasing sales.
  • Exhibit patience, empathy, and professionalism in interactions with others.
  • Organized and detail-oriented approach with a commitment to thorough documentation of all activities.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
