Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst to join our team at KBR. The successful candidate will provide cost estimating related support and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing cost estimates and developing procurement solutions using mathematical, statistical, and operations research techniques.
  • Understand and assist in performing risk analyses to identify potential cost savings and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets to communicate complex cost data to stakeholders.
  • Organize and normalize cost data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support cost research and issue paper development to inform business decisions.
  • Assist with database architecture plans and development to improve data management and analysis capabilities.
  • Provide effective verbal and written correspondence to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years but no more than 7 years of government acquisition experience and knowledge of Federal contract requirements, cost estimating, and cost analysis.
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting advanced mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods.
  • Demonstrated skill in creating and maintaining databases and working with spreadsheets and complex models.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic work environment and ability to coordinate and perform multiple assignments.
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possession of a government or industry standard cost certification is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated capability to work both independently and under the direction of experienced analysts.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
Clearance Requirement

Secret Clearance Required, Top Secret preferred.
