Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Crisis Clinician 2 to join our team at Marion County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Division, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, treatment, and support services to individuals and families in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, including brief therapy and community outreach, to help individuals stabilize in the community.
  • Collaborate with community partners, including Salem Hospital and the Marion County Jail, to address urgent situations and provide alternative solutions to psychiatric hospitalization.
  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs and diagnoses, providing regular check-ins and progress updates.
  • Participate in diversion program meetings and contribute to the development of individualized service plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed by the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with individuals and families in crisis, including those with complex needs and diagnoses.
  • Knowledge of community mental health concepts, chemical dependency case management, and treatment services.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
