Position Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Orange County, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Overview: Vaco is collaborating with a distinguished client in Orange County in search of a seasoned Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance their vibrant team. The preferred candidate will possess a robust background in accounts receivable, remarkable attention to detail, and the capability to thrive in a high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute all accounts receivable activities, encompassing invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
  • Track and pursue outstanding receivables to guarantee prompt payment.
  • Work alongside the finance department to address any billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Compile and uphold precise financial documentation, including daily and monthly reports.
  • Engage with customers regarding account status and payment inquiries.
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks and audit preparations as necessary.
  • Provide support for additional accounting functions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a comparable role.
  • Expertise in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong grasp of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capacity to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Aptitude for managing high volumes of transactions and multitasking efficiently.
