The JobAs a Business Development Manager for New York, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients, retain profitable partnerships, and enhance client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cannabis industry in New York.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to drive growth and retention.
- Manage the sales lifecycle, including developing sales strategies, negotiating agreements, and closing deals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for NABIS' expansion.
- Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to reach new audiences and retain current partners.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations outlining business development progress, strategies, and outcomes.
- Establish and maintain a strong network of industry professionals to drive lead generation and increase market share.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to inform sales strategies and approaches.
- Travel regularly to partner locations, retail establishments, and other NABIS sites to nurture relationships and drive engagement.
- Elevate NABIS' brand and values through all interactions and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the cannabis industry.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales lifecycle tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- At least 21 years old and able to pass a background check.
- Cannabis experience or familiarity with the industry.
The estimated salary for this position is $68,640-$100,000 per year, based on experience and performance. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, flexible PTO, and competitive bonus structure.
