Compensation:
$16.00 per hour. Final pay is determined by factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in branch initiatives, outreach, training sessions, and staff meetings as assigned.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to plan, coordinate, and implement programs and activities.
  • Engage and communicate with program participants, parents, and community members.
  • Offer guidance and support to program participants.
  • Provide constructive feedback on the success or challenges of projects and activities.
  • Adhere to all program guidelines and YMCA of Delaware regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with the YMCA code of conduct among all participants and manage behavior appropriately.
  • Perform additional duties as required by supervisors for the benefit of the program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to serve a diverse community.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-lingual capabilities
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families.
