Marketing and Events Coordinator

AZ Big Media is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing and Events Coordinator to lead our event planning and marketing strategies. This role is essential in enhancing brand visibility, driving lead generation, and ensuring the successful execution of our publications and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination:
    • Manage all phases of AZ Big Media events, from initial planning to post-event analysis.
    • Craft innovative themes, identify venues, oversee budgets, and coordinate logistical details.
    • Engage sponsors and exhibitors, negotiate agreements, and maintain vendor partnerships.
    • Develop engaging marketing materials and promotional content to create excitement around events.
    • Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
    • Evaluate event performance through data analysis and provide insights on return on investment (ROI).
  • Marketing Strategy:
    • Design and implement comprehensive marketing initiatives for all events and publications.
    • Produce compelling content for promotional materials, media kits, website updates, email communications, and advertisements.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to design visually impactful marketing assets.
    • Maintain and update the AZ Big Media website with current event details and advertising opportunities.
    • Ensure the fulfillment of partnership agreements, including advertising placements across various channels.
    • Utilize email marketing and social media platforms to promote events and publications effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in event coordination and marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing events.
  • Strong grasp of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and precision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience with email marketing tools and social media is advantageous.
