We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
Heart Hospital of Austin is a 58-bed hospital that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. We are one of the highest performing cardiovascular facilities in the nation and feature a comprehensive 24-hour emergency department. Our six operating rooms, including three hybrid ORs, serve the city of Austin, and we have three catheterization labs and electrophysiology services as well.
