About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
