Job Description

As a leading provider of innovative solutions, Brady Industries is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth and profitability in key market segments.

This role will be responsible for collaborating with executive management to execute strategic plans, cultivate new business opportunities, and support contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial sales strategies, market trends, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-term sustainable margin growth initiatives in commercial pricing.
  • Collaborate with national account managers to cross-reference products, execute pricing strategies, and provide contract negotiation support.
  • Provide product cross-referencing and coached pricing on new business opportunities.
  • Analyze existing customer profitability and work collaboratively with sales management to negotiate with suppliers and utilize company contracts to maximize profit.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to execute pricing strategies.
  • Act as a resource to Supply Chain Management in bid preparation, analysis, and support of product and contract negotiations.
  • Assist with managing contracted business.
  • Assist with the financial preparation and tracking of sales bids.
  • Participate in education and training conferences on selling and sourcing programs.
  • Stay informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers and suppliers.
  • Analyze competitive data.
  • Answer inquiries from customers and suppliers and handle complaints.
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
