Customer Advocacy Engineer

Key Responsibilities as a Developer Support Engineer at LiveKit:- Provide direct support to developers, teams, and organizations utilizing LiveKit, both in commercial settings and within the community.
- Identify, document, and resolve bugs, manage support inquiries, create sample and production-ready code, and enhance documentation and technical resources for our users.
- Regularly engage with LiveKit clients to monitor their progress and success on our platform.
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Partnerships teams to develop strategies and assist in customer discussions.
You will excel as a Developer Support Engineer if you:
- Are an engineer at heart.
- Are comfortable reviewing code more often than writing it.
- Possess a natural ability to teach and share knowledge:
- You take pleasure in helping others learn and achieve their goals.
- You can simplify complex ideas for better understanding.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Enjoy quickly learning new programming languages and developing prototypes.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with engaging a developer community.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience building applications with LiveKit.
- In group projects, you were often the one taking the lead.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as LiveKit serves a global audience.
