Position Summary

About the Role

The mission of the Software Engineering Insights product is to introduce analytics and automation into the engineering discipline. Throughout the years, we have all collaborated with software engineering teams where the underlying issues of the software development lifecycle (operational, security, and quality challenges) hinder feature development. Our product aids teams in identifying and automating these chaotic elements, allowing them to refocus on building. Your Role

Harness is seeking your expertise and experience to guide our clients through their journey in establishing and managing data-driven teams. With your background and understanding of organizational KPIs and metrics, you will mentor our customer leaders as they implement programs and processes within their engineering organizations, recommending engineering best practices utilizing the Harness Software Engineering Insights platform.


Qualifications
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
  • Customer-centric perspective and advocacy
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Marketing) to deliver outstanding customer experiences and outcomes
  • Comprehension of customer objectives and the ability to create and drive roadmaps for the deployment of our Software Engineering Insights module in client environments
  • A commitment to continuous learning, thriving in a team environment, sharing your experiences and solutions, and consistently pursuing excellence and success in all tasks, with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering
  • Strong understanding of KPIs and metrics utilized in building and managing engineering teams
  • Familiarity with common engineering methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
  • Proficiency with standard engineering development tools like Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab, SonarQube, TestRails, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python and JavaScript
  • Ability to translate client requests into engineering requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities
