As a Developer Support Engineer at LiveKit, your responsibilities will include:- Collaborating with developers, teams, and organizations utilizing LiveKit, both in commercial and community settings.
- Identifying, documenting, and resolving bugs, managing support inquiries, producing sample and production-ready code, updating documentation, and creating technical guides for our clients.
- Regularly engaging with LiveKit customers to ensure their ongoing success with our platform.
- Working closely with Sales and Partnerships teams to develop strategies and assist in customer discussions.
You will excel as a Developer Support Engineer if you:
- Are an engineer at heart.
- Are comfortable reviewing more code than you produce.
- Have a natural talent for teaching:
- You find fulfillment in helping others learn and achieve their goals.
- You can simplify complex ideas so they are easily understood.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Enjoy quickly learning new programming languages and prototyping new ideas.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with engaging a community of developers.
- Contributions to open-source software.
- Experience building projects with LiveKit.
- A history of taking on significant responsibilities in group projects.
- Multilingual abilities, as LiveKit serves users globally.
