We are seeking a skilled consumer growth marketer to contribute to our expanding consumer marketing division during a crucial phase for DoorDash.

The Consumer Growth Marketing team is dedicated to cultivating and engaging our consumer audience by delivering a compelling and relevant experience across various channels. As this team rapidly evolves, we anticipate that this individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategies and advancing their career as the team flourishes.

Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a motivated and talented performance marketer with a solid understanding of online marketing and performance channels to join our Consumer Growth Marketing team. This role presents an opportunity to make an immediate impact by overseeing the performance of acquisition channels. You will lead analyses, tackle complex challenges, and provide strategic recommendations to propel the business forward. Collaboration with other DoorDash teams, including Martech, Analytics, and Product, as well as partners like Google, Meta, Snapchat, and TikTok, will be essential for testing and implementing innovative marketing technologies.

  • Oversee substantial monthly digital budgets across various paid marketing channels, including Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat), Display (DSP), Paid Search (Google, Apple), and Affiliates.
  • Collaborate closely with agencies and internal teams to optimize media buying strategies to achieve ambitious growth objectives cost-effectively, utilizing insights from SQL and various analytical tools.
  • Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, demonstrating agility in adjusting tactics and strategies based on insights and opportunities.
  • Direct and manage agency partnerships to meet goals and ROI targets.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics across channels, including budget pacing, CPA, CVR, CAC, new customer acquisition, and volume targets.
  • Manage an experimentation roadmap to enhance performance, including A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and marketing media mix optimizations in collaboration with Analytics.
  • Work alongside the local brand team to oversee creative projects and ensure successful campaign execution from concept to market launch.
  • Explore new channel and product features to identify additional audiences and inventory for accelerating growth.
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and achievement of goals.
  • Be adaptable to work until 7 PM PST up to three days a week for key stakeholder meetings.
  • Be open to occasional travel for business purposes.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a results-driven marketer with proven experience managing significant budgets across acquisition channels. You possess strong analytical skills, with A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing campaign performance as core competencies. Creativity and collaboration are key traits, enabling you to work effectively with teams to address challenging issues. Most importantly, you are eager to explore opportunities and efficiencies in a dynamic environment at the forefront of on-demand food delivery.

  • Experience with paid social, display, and paid search marketing channels.
  • A BA/BS degree with 4-6 years of relevant digital performance marketing experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing media buying, optimization (Paid Search, App Search), and strategic planning, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Familiarity with CPA, CPC, CVR, and LTV metrics.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with a strong understanding of A/B testing and metrics-driven performance marketing.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; comfortable with data analysis for decision-making.
  • Proactive approach to achieving success in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience with Web & App Tracking/Attribution is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data processing languages is preferred.
  • Experience in multi-sided marketplace businesses is a plus.
