The Growth Marketing Lead, also known as the Degen Marketer, will take charge of developing and executing our comprehensive marketing strategy across various platforms, facilitating the growth of both Gauntlet and Aera. This role involves collaboration with Product, Business Development, and external partners to ensure that our market entry strategies are effective and aligned with our overarching business goals.
Your main objective will be to stimulate demand across essential sectors and broaden our brand's visibility through strategic alliances and events. This position is vital for our ongoing success as we expand into both existing and new markets.
Key Responsibilities- Demand Generation: Create, develop, and implement strategies to stimulate demand for Aera and other categories that Gauntlet engages with, such as perpetuals and (re)staking.
- Market Entry Strategy: Partner with Product teams to define and execute collaborative strategies that align with Gauntlet's evolving objectives.
- Partner Marketing & Events: Broaden Gauntlet's outreach by managing partner marketing initiatives and engaging in significant industry events.
- Performance Evaluation: Assess and enhance marketing campaigns to boost key metrics, including conversion rates, engagement, and return on investment.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Product, and Content, to ensure marketing efforts align with broader company objectives.
- Experience: 5-7 years in growth marketing, with a strong emphasis on the crypto and fintech sectors. Proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Crypto Proficiency: In-depth understanding and active involvement in the crypto ecosystem, particularly within DeFi and ideally DAOs.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to extract actionable insights from data. Familiarity with A/B testing and marketing analytics tools.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging marketing narratives.
- Self-Motivated & Driven: A proactive individual capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Organized & Effective Communicator: Excellent project management skills coupled with strong communication abilities across both business and technical discussions.
- Experience in consumer fintech or Web3/DeFi.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.

The national pay range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000, with additional On Target Earnings potential based on level and equity in the company. Our salary ranges are designed to be competitive for a company of our size and industry, and are one aspect of the comprehensive compensation, benefits, and rewards we offer. Individual pay rate decisions are influenced by various factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and maintaining internal equity relative to peers at the company.
