The Consumer Growth Marketing division is dedicated to cultivating and engaging our consumer audience by delivering a compelling and relevant cross-channel experience. As this team continues to evolve, we anticipate that this individual will play a key role in shaping our marketing strategies and advancing their career alongside the team's growth.

Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a motivated and results-driven performance marketer with extensive knowledge of online marketing and performance channels to join our Consumer Growth Marketing division. This role presents an opportunity to make an immediate impact by overseeing the performance of acquisition channels. You will lead analyses, tackle complex challenges, and provide strategic insights to propel the business forward. Collaboration with various DoorDash teams, including Martech, Analytics, and Product, as well as external partners like Google, Meta, Snapchat, and TikTok, will be essential for testing and implementing innovative marketing technologies.

Your Role Will Involve...
  • Overseeing substantial monthly digital budgets across various paid marketing channels, including Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat), Display (DSP), Paid Search (Google, Apple), and Affiliates.
  • Collaborating closely with agencies and internal teams to enhance media buying strategies aimed at achieving ambitious growth objectives in a cost-efficient manner by utilizing insights from SQL and other analytical tools.
  • Establishing channel forecasts and budget proposals, with the agility to swiftly adjust tactics and strategies based on insights and emerging opportunities.
  • Directing and managing agencies to meet goals and return on investment targets.
  • Monitoring and maintaining key performance indicators across channels, including budget pacing, CPA, CVR, CAC, new customer acquisition, and volume objectives.
  • Managing an experimentation roadmap to enhance performance, including A/B creative tests, incrementality assessments, and marketing media mix optimizations in collaboration with Analytics, as well as bidding algorithm tests.
  • Working alongside local brand teams to oversee creative projects and ensure successful campaign execution from conception to market launch.
  • Testing new channel and product features to discover incremental audiences and inventory for accelerated growth.
  • Coordinating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Being adaptable to work until 7 PM PST up to three days a week (meeting dependent) to facilitate collaboration with ANZ time zones for key stakeholder discussions.
  • Being open to travel up to two times a year to Australia/New Zealand.
Qualifications

We are excited about candidates who are results-oriented marketers with proven experience managing substantial budgets across acquisition channels. You should possess strong analytical skills, with A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and evaluating campaign performance as your core competencies. Creativity and collaboration are essential, as is the ability to tackle challenging problems. A passion for discovering opportunities and efficiencies in a dynamic environment is vital. A love for food is a plus

  • Experience with paid social, display, and paid search marketing channels.
  • A BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant digital performance marketing experience.
  • Direct, hands-on experience in media buying, optimization (Paid Search, App Search), and strategic planning, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CVR, and LTV metrics.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, along with a strong understanding of A/B testing and metrics-driven performance marketing.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and the capacity to effectively manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; comfort with data analysis and decision-making based on data.
  • A proactive approach to achieving success in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience with Web & App Tracking/Attribution (preferred).
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data processing scripts (preferred).
  • Experience in multi-sided marketplace businesses (preferred).
