Parker and Sons is seeking enthusiastic Customer Engagement Specialists to work in collaboration with our retail partners. This is an entry-level position that does not necessitate prior sales experience, just a positive, outgoing demeanor and a strong desire to maximize your earnings.

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will be actively engaging with customers in retail environments, initiating conversations to generate interest in scheduling appointments for residential air conditioning and water treatment services.

Compensation starts at a base rate of $18.00 per hour, with the potential to earn between $19.50 and $30.00 per hour through uncapped commissions.

We offer both part-time and full-time positions, beginning with a minimum of 20 hours per week, with one weekend day required.

Please note that this is not a remote or call center position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role is NOT office-based.
  • Engage with customers in retail stores, standing or walking for 4-8 hours at a time.
  • Discuss customer needs related to home services.
  • Communicate the features and benefits of various products and services, including HVAC and water treatment.
  • Schedule appointments for free estimates on equipment replacement and other services.
  • Build strong relationships with store management and staff.
  • Participate in mandatory monthly meetings and training sessions.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
  • Interact with multiple customers in retail settings, fostering relationships.
  • Achieve sales and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail customer service.
  • Previous sales or lead generation experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (4-8 hours).
  • Outgoing, energetic, and self-driven individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
  • Proficient in using smartphones or tablets for communication and scheduling.
  • Must pass a background check (no pre-employment drug screening required).
