Parker and Sons is on the lookout for Customer Engagement Specialists to join our retail partner locations. This is an entry-level position that does not necessitate prior sales experience, just a positive, outgoing demeanor and a strong desire to maximize your earnings.

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will work directly in the field at our partner retail sites, interacting with customers face-to-face, while generating interest in scheduling appointments for residential air conditioning and/or water treatment services for our sales team.

Compensation starts at a base rate of $18.00, with additional uncapped commissions. After commissions, your earnings can range from $19.50 to $30.00 per hour or more.

We offer both part-time and full-time positions, beginning at 20 hours per week, with one weekend day required.

Please note, this is not a remote or call center role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers approaching the company display to encourage them to learn about our products and services
  • Engage customers in conversations about their home service needs while walking throughout the stores
  • Articulate the features and benefits of various products and services while gathering information about customers' individual needs
  • Schedule appointments for our Sales Consultants to visit customers' homes and provide estimates for products and services
  • Build strong relationships with the store's leadership team
  • Participate in required monthly meetings and training sessions
  • Represent the company in a professional, honest, and ethical manner

Qualifications:

  • Prior retail experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for 4-8 hours at a time
  • Must be outgoing, energetic, and self-driven
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation is essential
  • Proficient in using a smartphone for email and text communication
  • No prior HVAC or Water Treatment experience is required
  • Willingness to undergo a background check

Ability to pass a drug screening and willingness to undergo a background check is necessary.
