Job Overview

Position: Customer Support Specialist

Location: Remote with Hybrid Options

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Contract Duration: 5-6 months with potential for permanent placement

Compensation: $21/hour with access to discounted health, dental, and vision plans, as well as a 401K option during the contract period.

Role Responsibilities

A leading global human resources software firm is seeking to expand its team by hiring over 16 Customer Support Specialists. This team will focus on delivering exceptional front-line assistance to small businesses with fewer than 60 employees. The primary objective is to ensure clients receive top-notch service for inquiries related to payroll, taxation, benefits, and software.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Handling 25-35 calls daily, both incoming and outgoing, addressing a variety of issues.
  • Delivering high-quality customer service through a consultative approach and scheduling follow-up calls to confirm issue resolution.
  • Efficiently navigating multiple systems while managing various tasks concurrently.
  • Utilizing both internal and external resources to effectively resolve client issues.
  • Addressing complex client requests and providing conflict resolution as the primary support contact.
  • Collaborating with fellow associates and engaging with internal stakeholders as necessary.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in client support or customer service within a professional environment, demonstrating resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in various software tools and the ability to navigate different systems effectively.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in payroll, benefits, or HR-related customer service is a plus.
