As a prominent player in the fire suppression and detection sector, Matlick Enterprises Inc is on the lookout for a skilled Sales and Customer Support Specialist to become an integral part of our committed team. This role serves as the initial point of interaction between Matlick and our extensive clientele of firefighters. The selected candidate will play a vital role in assisting with the provision of firefighter uniforms for various fire departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate front counter sales and engage with walk-in customers.
  • Complete front counter opening and closing tasks efficiently.
  • Support firefighters with online uniform orders and modifications, while preparing comprehensive sales orders, order forms, and invoices.
  • Provide accurate delivery estimates for products based on knowledge of production and logistics timelines.
  • Process customer payments through cash, checks, or credit card transactions.
  • Inform and promote all available products and services offered by Matlick Enterprises.
  • Assist in conducting physical inventory assessments as required by management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.

Job Type:

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Able to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and sit, including the ability to balance and climb a ladder up to 10 feet.
