Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for detail-oriented, customer-focused, and dependable individuals to join our Application Processing Department (APD) Team as Life Insurance Customer Support Specialists.

  • Our team is responsible for servicing existing policies, which includes data entry, processing policy change requests, handling disbursements and premium payments, and assembling policy documents.
  • Customer Support Specialists work directly with State Farm Agents to address inquiries, researching account histories and providing effective solutions.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously are essential for success in this role.
  • Adherence to process guidelines is crucial, as is the ability to make informed decisions regarding outgoing payments with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaboration with business partners is key to completing work assignments efficiently.
  • Data entry, processing policy changes, handling disbursements, and managing premium payments are core functions of this position.
  • A Series 6 license may be required for this role.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for the Life Insurance Customer Support Specialist role will demonstrate the following skills:

  • Ability to locate information and serve as a technical and procedural resource for resolving policyholder inquiries.
  • Attention to detail in maintaining and updating policyholder records (e.g., address changes, policy coverage adjustments).
  • Exceptional communication skills, providing professional and remarkable customer service.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) while maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced team environment.
  • A strong sense of accountability to your team, your work, and your schedule.

  • Experience with Life Workload Management systems
