About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our physical therapy office as a Front Desk Coordinator.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks.

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of the clinic's schedule.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, responding to inquiries about services, insurance, and scheduling.
  • Verify patient insurance and assist with collecting co-pays or payments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the clinic's database.
  • Ensure the waiting area and front desk are clean, organized, and well-stocked with materials.
  • Coordinate with therapists and staff to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Prior experience in a medical or physical therapy office is preferred but not required.
About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
