Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our dedicated team. This position involves the maintenance and servicing of our advanced measuring instruments, ensuring peak performance and high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and a dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver thorough service and support to clients during field visits and in-house repairs.
  • Utilize the company CRM effectively for service quotations, tracking repair progress, and maintaining a troubleshooting log.
  • Perform onsite installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance with accuracy and expertise.
  • Manage a travel schedule of up to 50%, which includes planning, documenting customer issues, ordering parts, and arranging travel.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Keep detailed service and expense reports, while actively promoting our service offerings.
  • Follow all company protocols and procedures, encouraging teamwork and information sharing within the technical team.
  • Recognize and fulfill customer needs, offering high-quality recommendations and briefings.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant field service experience, with a solid background in troubleshooting and servicing technical equipment.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changing schedules.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, for service and maintenance duties.
  • A collaborative mindset focused on teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Capability to work with electronic schematics, testing equipment, and repair tools.
  • An Associate's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • A valid driver's license.
