Position Overview:
As a Technical Service Specialist for Imaging Systems, you will leverage your expertise to enhance customer satisfaction by managing relationships and delivering exceptional service through your technical acumen. Your responsibilities will include the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced diagnostic equipment at various healthcare facilities.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Deliver outstanding customer support by understanding their needs, setting clear expectations, and ensuring timely resolutions to service requests.

2. Gain insights into the client's operational landscape and contribute to service revenue generation.

3. Collaborate effectively with regional teams to refine processes and identify training needs, while seeking opportunities for professional development across multiple modalities.

4. Complete all administrative tasks in compliance with Philips, state, and federal regulations, including documentation of service activities, expense reporting, and preventative maintenance records.

5. Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards while utilizing available resources to resolve technical issues efficiently.

6. Conduct preventative maintenance, field change orders, and other related tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment.

7. Expect approximately 70% travel within the designated region, with daily driving times ranging from 1 to 4 hours, and occasional overnight travel may be necessary.


Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 4 years in electromechanical industries.

2. Preferred experience with CT and MRI systems, along with OEM training.

3. Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and networking principles necessary for equipment installation and repair.

4. An Associate Degree in electronics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

5. The ability to meet the physical, cognitive, and environmental demands of the role, with or without accommodation.


Work Environment:


This position requires flexibility to work in various settings, including remote and healthcare environments, with the possibility of overtime, weekends, and on-call duties.
