About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Director, Global Digital Partnerships to join our team at Visa Inc.

This is a key leadership role that will drive the growth of our business in world-class global partnerships.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Leadership
  • Develop and execute a partnership strategy to increase revenue and overall performance.
  • Meet annual and quarterly performance targets for the team.
  • Lead account, relationship management, and sales planning to ensure shared business objectives are met.
  • Align cross-functional teams on key proposals and lead the development, negotiation, and signing of agreements.
Stakeholder Management
  • Develop a clear understanding of internal client stakeholders' motivations and objectives.
  • Align interests to assure continued and improved attainment of partnership objectives.
  • Negotiate and find common ground among stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
Product Solutioning and Opportunity Development
  • Lead discovery, ideation, and product solutioning with partners in a thoughtful and creative manner.
  • Work closely with product, innovation, and technology teams to prepare agendas, presentation materials, and project plans.
  • Drive opportunity to closure with legal, finance, and product counterparts.
Partnership Execution
  • Sharpen overall execution of the partnership and drive high client satisfaction.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure partner implementations are on track and delivering against plan.
  • Take the lead in solving problems that arise during program execution.
Communication
  • Handle all client communications effectively.
  • Reach all levels of the team and leadership through effective communications and information management techniques.
  • Proactively educate the organization on market developments and partner opportunities.
Segment Expertise & Thought Leadership
  • Identify strategic opportunities for Visa capabilities through a strong understanding of the segment and customer's business needs.
  • Continuously review market landscape to identify developing partnership or acquisition opportunities.
  • Support the Strategic Partnerships and Innovation executive team in developing the overall group strategy.
Requirements
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree.
  • Experience working with large enterprises in a consulting, solutions, relationship or account management.
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing, and closing complex partnership efforts.
