Position Overview

The Role: As a Bilingual Parent Liaison at Phalen Leadership Academies, you will serve as a vital link among the school, community, and families. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance communication with parents, fostering a supportive and positive educational atmosphere for all involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective communication between parents, educators, and school staff.
  • Provide assistance and resources to parents to help them understand academic expectations.
  • Coordinate meetings among stakeholders to promote collaboration.
  • Work closely with school leadership to create informative materials for families.
  • Inform parents and guardians about school policies and procedures, including registration and curriculum details.
  • Build strong relationships with parents to ensure they feel valued and connected to the school community.
  • Communicate school and program objectives to the broader community.
  • Act as a resource for family engagement initiatives and educational programs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications.
  • Fluency in both oral and written communication in multiple languages, sufficient to meet the job requirements.
