About the Position
REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive with a proven track record in achieving sales targets within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is pivotal in driving new customer acquisition from initial contact through to closing deals.
The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of our software solutions and will excel in providing product demonstrations, addressing inquiries from potential clients, and adapting processes as needed. Collaboration with various internal teams, including sales development, operations, and marketing, will be essential to secure new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients to drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Qualify leads generated by the Sales Development Team.
- Keep prospects informed about new products, features, and updates.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Department to finalize agreements.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline, handling approximately 30 opportunities concurrently to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Oversee daily tasks including client outreach, appointment scheduling, and proposal management.
- Work collaboratively within a sales team structure under the guidance of a Regional Sales Director.
- Generate approximately 50% of your pipeline through proactive outreach.
- Consistently meet sales targets and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across internal and external teams.
- Document lead and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Stay informed on sales best practices and industry trends.
- Assist in customer payment collection as necessary.
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with RFx processes (RFP, RFI, DDQ, Security Questionnaire).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online presentation tools.
- Skilled in conducting product demonstrations.
- Proven success with a structured sales methodology, preferably MEDDPICC.
- 2-5 years of experience in B2B software sales.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet sales quotas.
- Experience selling to enterprise or corporate accounts, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Experience engaging prospects in trial or proof of concept scenarios.
- Ability to create and execute sales plans on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.
- Experience in learning and applying a repeatable sales process.
