Lead Project Management Officer

Compensation: $96/hr - $107/hr

About the Role:
Join a prestigious global banking institution as a Lead Project Management Officer. This contract position offers a significant opportunity for extension or transition to permanent employment. The role necessitates a hybrid work schedule, requiring presence in the office three days a week.


As part of a globally recognized financial services provider with a rich history, you will collaborate with some of the industry's brightest professionals eager to share insights and learn from your expertise.


Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project planning and management.
  • Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) effectively.
  • Utilize Jira for defect management, monitoring, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations for various FRTB Governance bodies.
  • Support the successful execution of projects aligned with the overall Markets Program Execution & Transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Program Management Team and engage with both the 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense to facilitate FRTB implementation.
  • Communicate clearly with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and present updates on project/program status, resource allocation, and strategic plans to management.

Required Qualifications:
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in PMO/Project Management with a strong foundation in project management and business analysis.
  • Experience in project management, transformation, and change management, particularly within a Central PMO environment.
  • FRTB experience is essential.
  • Proficient in business analysis and consulting.
  • Experience in regulatory project management, including typical PMO functions such as maintaining SharePoint, updating logs, and managing workstreams.
  • Skilled in automation strategies.
  • Familiarity with governance processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of producing high-quality procedural documentation and engaging with senior management.
  • Proven project management experience in major institutions, such as Tier 1 banks or top consulting firms.
  • Ability to create comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership.
