Opportunity Overview:

A long-term contract position is available for a PMO Project Manager to be part of a newly established team within a prestigious investment banking institution.

This role requires a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days working remotely.

Compensation: $110-$130/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple projects within the PMO framework across the organization.
  • Assist in the development of project governance standards, ensuring compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Manage prioritization and planning processes to allocate resources effectively to high-value initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders and IT to accurately define project scopes and budgets.
  • Create a comprehensive project plan that spans various business and operational groups, coordinating and tracking tasks to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program performance throughout the product development lifecycle. Prepare reports for project stakeholders and senior management, delivering presentations at the executive level.
  • Adopt a proactive stance in identifying and mitigating project risks while maintaining open communication with senior management to establish action plans for risk mitigation.
  • Support business units in the strategic planning and development of a technology roadmap that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing a diverse portfolio of complex projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with a track record of driving projects to meet established deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate constructive relationships with stakeholders, executives, and project teams.
  • Demonstrated capacity to align project management strategies with the overarching strategic goals of the organization.
  • Relevant project management certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
