Sia Partners is in search of a skilled Management Consultant to bolster our Risk, Regulatory & Compliance Business Unit, acting as a project manager for our clients.

Our consultants collaborate closely with clients' Compliance and Legal leadership teams, spearheading cross-functional initiatives related to Compliance (e.g., AML, KYC, Sanctions), Data Privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD), Legal Operations, and high-stakes projects. This role presents an excellent opportunity for change management within the legal and regulatory landscape.

Our team of consultants is equipped to oversee these initiatives from inception to completion, encompassing planning, documentation, implementation, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and/or assist with a variety of client delivery projects, as part of an on-site or remote project team
  2. Collaborate with internal and client project team members, contributing to internal communications and readiness activities within the program team and client groups
  3. Provide regular updates on progress, dependencies, issues, risks, and overall program health
  4. Maintain program sites as a repository for all project-related information
  5. Contribute to the creation of high-quality and timely deliverables
  6. Conduct subject matter research and business analysis
  7. Assist in the coordination and development of client proposals
  8. Support practice development, thought leadership, and team growth
  9. Review client processes and controls against leading practices and industry frameworks, identifying gaps in design and execution, and communicating findings to engagement leads and client management
  10. Plan and execute client engagements focusing on Operational Risk, Operational Resilience, Regulatory Compliance, Surveillance, Conduct Risk, Third Party Risk Assessments, and other risk programs
  11. Engage in business development efforts, including preparing proposals for prospective clients and client presentations
  12. Oversee project management and administration, including contracting and budget oversight

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  2. 1+ years of recent project management experience in regulatory, compliance, legal, privacy, and/or securities-related projects
  3. Demonstrated ability to apply compliance, regulatory, and legal knowledge within a project management framework
  4. Understanding of Legal and Compliance functional areas with prior experience in similar topics
  5. Proven knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, including agile/scrum
  6. Advanced project management certifications are preferred, including PMP, CAPM, and Agile
  7. Relevant certifications such as ACAMS, CPA, CA, CMA, CIA, CFI, CFE, CRCP, CRCM, or others are a plus
