Job Overview

Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Social Wellness
FLSA Status: Hourly
Salary Range: Starting at $57,000

Position Summary

This role, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Social Wellness, is pivotal in implementing marketing strategies and initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will engage in various activities that bolster the marketing objectives of Marsell Wellness Center.

Key Responsibilities

To excel in this position, the individual must competently execute the following tasks; additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary:

  • Campaign Development and Implementation:
    • Assist in crafting marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
    • Oversee the rollout of marketing initiatives across diverse platforms (digital, print, events, etc.).
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Content Development and Oversight:
    • Generate and manage content for marketing assets such as brochures, emails, newsletters, social media updates, and blog posts.
    • Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other team members to ensure high-quality content production.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all communication channels.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Conduct analyses to identify target demographics and industry trends.
    • Collect competitive intelligence and assess their marketing and sales tactics.
    • Summarize findings to inform strategic decisions.
  • Social Media Oversight:
    • Administer and evaluate the company's social media presence.
    • Create and schedule posts, interact with followers, and respond to inquiries.
    • Analyze social media metrics and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Administrative Assistance:
    • Manage marketing schedules and monitor project timelines.
    • Organize meetings and prepare reports for the marketing department.
    • Support budgeting and expense tracking for marketing endeavors.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between various business units.
    • Engage with external partners, including agencies and vendors, to ensure effective project delivery.

Qualifications

To fulfill this role effectively, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing tools and software, including CRM systems and analytics platforms.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures precision and quality in marketing outputs.
  • Bilingual: Proficiency in Spanish is required.
Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by moderate noise levels, conducive to productivity.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit and frequently use hands for various tasks. Occasional standing and walking may be necessary, along with the ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Close vision is required for this position.
